What we provide

A directory and discovery service with business profiles, categories, and city pages.
Some content is user-generated (e.g., business owners create/edit their listing).
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

Your account & eligibility

Browsing is free without an account.
To manage a business listing, you must create an account, provide accurate information, and keep credentials secure.
You must be 13+ (or the age required by your local law).

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Break the law, infringe IP, or violate privacy.

• Post false, misleading, or harmful content.

• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means without our written consent.

• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or overload the service.

• Post spam, malware, or unauthorized promotions.

Business listings & user content

You own the content you submit; you grant Lokali a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it to operate the service.
You must have all necessary rights (e.g., photos, logos).
You are responsible for accuracy and transparency of your listing.
We may review, moderate, remove, or refuse content that breaches these Terms or the law.

Reviews and feedback

Reviews must be honest and based on real experiences.
Your full legal name will appear publicly next to your review. If you do not wish for your name to be displayed, please do not submit a review.
Keep reviews respectful and factual. Avoid personal attacks, hate speech, or irrelevant remarks.
Do not post spam, promotional material, or content that infringes privacy or intellectual property rights.
In cases involving defamation, harassment, or reputational risk, we may remove reviews without prior notice.
If you believe a review is false or violates these Terms, contact us with the review details (link, date, reason). We will investigate and take appropriate action.
Feedback you send us may be used to improve the service with no obligation to compensate you.

Plans, billing & cancellation (if applicable)

Plan details and prices appear on the Pricing page.
Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
You can cancel anytime via “Cancel my plan”.
Taxes, refunds, and billing disputes follow the terms shown at checkout (e.g., Stripe’s terms if used).

Third-party services & links

lokali.ch may link to third-party sites or use third-party tools (analytics, payments, email).
We are not responsible for third-party content or practices—use at your own risk.

Intellectual property

The site design, brand, and code are lokali.ch or our licensors’ property.
Do not copy, modify, or reuse except as allowed by law or with permission.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, or the accuracy/completeness of listings.
Business information is provided by owners; report issues so we can act.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, lokali.ch shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or loss of data.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify lokali.ch for claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your content.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or create risk for others.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we’ll notify you (e.g., on-site notice or email).
Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.

Governing law & venue

Swiss law governs these Terms (excluding conflict-of-laws rules).
Courts of Biel/Bienne, Switzerland, shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
